Sign up here to register for Panhellenic Sorority Recruitment (PSR)! Participating in PSR requires a small fee. Registration will cost $15 and participants will receive some PSR merch as a part of their registration. An amount from each registration fee will also go towards the National Panhellenic Conference foundation, Circle of Sisterhood. PSR for Fall 2020 will take place September 26th and October 2nd - 5th.
To avoid conflicts with classes, recruitment events are held in the evenings and on weekend days. If a participant has a conflict during PSR, accommodations can be made to work with every schedule. Participants attend events at the 6 Panhellenic sorority chapter houses Thursday through Sunday. Recruitment is a mutual selection process. After each night’s party, participants preference the houses they would like to return to; simultaneously, the respective houses choose which women to whom they wish to extend return invitations. The final invitational event held on Sunday is a Preference Party which is more formal in nature. After the Preference Parties, potential new members rank their choices and the sororities submit a preference list. To promote equity in the recruitment process, each sorority is permitted to only accept a maximum number of women, so a bid matching process determines which sorority each participant may join. Most participants are pledged to the chapter they list as their first choice after the Preference Parties. More information about the upcoming pre-recruitment schedule, PSR, and the chapters can be found on our website, cmupanhellenic.com
